WORX Air WG540.5 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 120 mph Blower/Sweeper CustomerReview
I used to use the Black & Decker 18volt cordless lawn tools that used those horrible ni-cad batteries that never lasted more than a year and required holding your breath just right in order for them to charge back to full, and even then, it seems that most after a few times of use would never charge back enough to give full power to the tools (the bush trimmer, after only a few uses was virtually worthless because none of the batteries could charge fully enough to give it enough power to go thru anything). I finally got tired and frustrated with continually low charge and no power to do anything and have been gradually replacing the B&D 18v Ni-Cad yard tools with the Worx line of Li-Ion cordless lawn tools. I’ve had the worx weed whacker since christmas, and I love it – not only does it maintain full battery charge for longer than the old Black & Deckers, but it was much more powerful than the B&D’s were the first time I used them. The blower is no exception – way more power than it’s B&D NiCad equivalent – it can blow much more debris of a patio and much faster. The battery life seemed to somewhere around 15-20mins. which is more than adequate for my use – I don’t use blowers to try to gather leaves or anything, I simply mow over leaves and mulch them. Plus the Worx tools are much smaller and streamlined than the B&D tools, not just the battery, but everything else is smaller too – not a bunch of unnecessarily large plastic housing, but the weed whacker handle still extends out to a comfortable length for taller people. I guess B&D makes their lawn tools look big and bulky so the men will feel manly when they use them, but I’m a petite woman, and I appreciate that Worx doesn’t make their tools any larger than they need to be – and they still function perfectly and have plenty of power. So for anyone out there still struggling with crappy NI-Cad yard tools and perpetually low batteries – get these – you won’t regret it.

Finally…a perfect cordless option – DevLaur – Wisconsin
This is my second try at cordless outdoor tools, and I must say that they have finally reached a level of reality. EXCELLENT TOOLS. I have all 3 for the lithium 18v series and I am 100% happy with them all.
I have a 1/2 acre yard and these tools handle it all perfectly with at least 70% battery life remaining.
Be aware you arent going to use these tools on a 1 acre yard with full on/full power non-stop trimming and blowing work that lasts well over 30 minutes. And you arent going to clean the yard of leaves in Fall with the blower. These are light weight, light duty tools, with about 30 minutes of full on power.
For a suburban setting…these tools ARE SPOT ON!!!

Easy to use Blower – M Benson – Plano, TX
I used to have a gas powered trimmer that had a blower attachment. I mostly used the blower to clean up after cutting the grass. The blower attachement worked great, but it was also loud and blew like a hurricane. The Worx blower is light, blows at just the right speed and is convenient so that I actually use it for more than just cleaning up after mowing the lawn. I use it for cleaning out the garage or after I’ve cut wood on my patio with a circular saw. Can’t tell about battery life, because I’ve never had to recharge for any of the tasks that I’ve meantioned above. The conveniance of cordless battery power and the light weight has other members of the family using it too!

Good, but battery needs to last longer – Eyegor –
This is a great idea…cleaning off the driveway or the deck without having to drag the cord out. A bit expensive, but over time should justify the cost. My problem is battery life. After charging overnight, the charge only lasts 8-10 minutes at most. I assumed 15 minutes would be reasonable. This is my first cordless product, so perhaps this is normal. If I got 15 minutes per charge, I would give this blower five stars.
